Shammers & Lefthand is a comedic hip-hop duo based out of Bloomington, Indiana. Formed in 2009, the duo were compelled to put their creative talents to use and have been seen playing at local venues, house parties and conventions throughout both Indiana and Ohio, respectively.
Shammers is a rapper / beatboxer / trekkie from Bloomington, IN. After years of honing his improvisational comedy skills with various groups throughout Chicago and the Midwest, he began mixing them with rapping to create a new blend of funky fresh freestyle goodness. Shammers obsession with Star Trek is arguably unhealthy but undeniably infectious.
Lefthand is an active musician and producer from Danville, Indiana. He attended school at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences based out of Tempe, Arizona where he learned his craft from some of the finest instructors in the nation. Currently, Lefthand can be seen wandering in the woods, shirtless.
The duo are hard at work on new material and are looking to cram in as many shows as possible.

We often wonder why we do this to ourselves; with just a few days left until the show, we are still putting songs together and polishing the show for maximum entertainitude. We’d love to divulge all of the exciting things we have planned, but then that would ruin the surprise.
What we can say is that for those of you fortunate enough to attend, you are in for a very special and (hopefully) entertaining show.

Shammers & Lefthand will be performing at Animation and Gaming Convention in Ohio on Saturday, March 13th at 11 PM. We will be playing in the Atrium Stage along with Cincinnati’s own, Dual Core.

We are very excited and invite you all to the convention. We’ve upped our game for this show and plan on doing something a little bit different than in events past. We’ll even be handing out some special merchandise to those who attend.
